Faro Airport Information Faro International Airport is the only airport in the Algarve and is located at the edge of the Rio Formosa around a 15 minute drive from the centre of Faro. Each year millions of tourists from around the world pass through the airport on their way to holiday destinations across the Algarve.

There are many companies offering flights to Faro Airport Transfers including low cost airlines such as Ryanair, Monarch and Easyjet. Flights into Faro often come in from the sea, providing great views of the city of Faro and the Algarve during the descent.

Faro airport transfers itself is not that big compared to the larger UK airports, and finding your way around is generally quite straight forward. There are no train services at the airport, but there are buses and taxis available for the 15-20 minute drive into Faro, which has rail connections to the major Algarve tourist resorts, Spain and Lisbon. The train station is easily walkable from Faro city centre.

Driving from Faro to holiday destinations along the Algarve is relatively easy. The roads are not busy compared to the UK, and once you get away from Faro itself the rush hour traffic is minimal. Traffic around Faro can be busy from around 8.30-9AM and 6-7PM.

Whether you are heading East or West, generally it is best to head for the A22 which is signposted from the airport. Follow directions for Albufeira to go west or Spain (Espanha) for Tavira.

If you arrive early at the airport, or if you want to get something to eat before heading on to your destination, Montenegro is situated approximately 1 km from the airport. There are a few small cafes on Montengro high street where you can sit outside and enjoy the sun with a beer or a coffee before continuing on your journey. Alternatively, at the Faro airport roundabout follow the signs for Praia de Faro and in 5 minutes you will be at Faro beach. Flight arrivals/departures For flight times at Faro Airport please visit the ANA website. Places to Stay close to Faro Airport Faro Airport is located in the Montenegro district to the west of Faro. If you have an early morning/late night flight there are a couple of hotels in Montenegro which may be an alternatve to an early morning/late night drive. Montenegro is not a typical tourist destination, so most people don’t speak English. It has a few shops including several typical Algarve Pastelarias (pastry/coffee shops), where you can sit outside and watch Algarve people going about their everyday lives.

Are you looking for an exciting holiday destination that you can visit on your next vacation? If you want to experience life like you’ve never experienced it before, then start packing your bags and make sure to look up the marvelous subcontinent of India. India is a land that has a lot to offer its visitors. Whether you’re going for the history, or a religious festival or the bustling lifestyle, you’re sure to find something in India that will be able to tickle your fancy. It’s just a matter of knowing how you can get the best holiday packages that will make your trip even more memorable and exciting.

If you’re planning to visit India soon, one of the first things that you should do is to set travel goals for yourself. Do your research thoroughly so that you can decide on which attractions you would like to visit. India is a subcontinent that is packed with all sorts of attractions that you won’t get to see all in one visit so try to prioritize which ones you would definitely want to visit first. Once you’ve come up with a list, you might want to look up travel agencies online that specialize in India holiday packages. You’ll find countless agencies offering different holiday packages to India so make sure that you choose one that can help you achieve the travel goals that you have set.

One of the great things about settling for India holiday packages that have already been planned out by the travel agency is that it allows you to literally take it easy while you’re on vacation. No need to worry about flights or hotel rooms or day tours as it’s likely that all of these travel facets have already been prepared beforehand by your travel agency. You’ll also be able to cover more groundwork as it’s usual for travel packages to come with a set travel itinerary. India holiday packages are perfect for you if you want to be able to relax with your family and have nothing to think about. But be prepared to shell out some money as this convenience comes with a price.

On the other hand, if you’re more of the adventurous type and you’re idea of travel is anywhere where the wind will take you, then you might want to settle for more flexible India holiday packages that allow you to do some of the planning yourself. This way, you’ll be able to enjoy a real custom made trip and at the same time, save a little bit of money. Though planning your own trip to a foreign land may seem a little bit daunting at first, you just need to do a little bit of research on the country and travel tips and you’re all set.
Just remember that whether you decide to work with a travel agent, or you plan your vacation yourself, it’s important that you don’t miss out on the following iconic destinations in India.
